Just wanted to let you know that my band, Justin Fallen and the Angels, will be on KUTX tomorrow night (Monday) at 9 pm Texas time. It’s kind of a personal dream come true. Tune in if you have a chance! It should be streaming on kutx.org for all you out of towners.
Also, there’s still two weeks left in our Wednesday night residencies at the Spiderhouse Ballroom. If you’ve been on the fence about coming out in the middle of the week, we’ve moved all the set times up an hour. I’ll be playing a solo set outside at 7, and the band goes on at 10. This week our friend Molybden is having her 7″ release party with us at 9, along with RF Shannon will play at 11. It’d be great to see some of you! Our bass player Phil Ajjarapu debuted his own live act in support of his new album. It was awesome–lush, complex, hooky melodies that I had stuck in my head all day the next day. Here’s Phil and Bryan (also from the Angels):
